Description:
The City of Grand Prairie is seeking a concessionaire to provide services at Loyd Park and Lynn Creek Parks. The concessionaire will be responsible for offering goods and services to the public, such as ice, shaved ice, ice cream, snacks, and drinks. The concessionaire must have at least five years of experience in providing concession services and must be in good financial standing. The contract will be for an initial one-year term with the option to renew for up to two additional one-year periods. The city reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive formalities. • The concessionaire must provide competent supervision of its employees and ensure that they are trained in safety procedures and have access to necessary safety equipment. • The concessionaire must comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including those related to environmental health, safety, and labor. • The concessionaire must provide proof of insurance naming the City of Grand Prairie and the United States Army Corps of Engineers as additional insured. • The concessionaire must pay a percentage of its gross receipts to the city, with a minimum of 20%. • The concessionaire must provide a list of three governmental or commercial references for work of a similar scope to this specification.
