The United States Air Force is seeking information from potential contractors for the provision of preventative maintenance services for Kardex Vertical Lift Modules (VLMs) located at Edwards Air Force Base, California. The contractor will be required to perform semi-annual and annual preventative inspections and maintenance of the VLMs, as well as provide service calls for repairs and maintenance. The contractor must comply with all Air Force safety standards and OSHA standards, and provide documentation upon completion of work. • The contract will require the contractor to furnish all labor, tools, equipment, and qualified personnel necessary to perform the work. • The contractor must submit a Preventative Maintenance Inspection (PMI) plan to the Project Manager for approval within 15 calendar days after award. • The contractor will be required to respond to service calls within 4 hours and complete the work by mutually agreed upon dates. • The contractor must comply with all base security regulations and provide a copy of the request letter to each employee for verification purposes when the employee comes to the Contracting Office to get their AFMC Form 496 signed.
