Description:
The USDA-Forest Service is seeking a contractor to perform mechanical fuels reduction on the Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest in Washington State. The contractor will be required to provide all necessary equipment, labor, and supervision to complete the project. The project involves mastication of small diameter trees and non-commercial small tree thinning generated slash. The contractor must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database and have a valid UEI number. • The project is located in the Naches Ranger District of the Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest. • The contractor will be required to perform work in accordance with the terms and conditions of the contract. • The contract will be awarded to the responsible offeror whose offer conforms to the solicitation and is most advantageous to the Government. • The contractor must comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including those related to labor, employment, and environmental protection. • The contractor must provide a technical proposal, price proposal, and contractor representations and certifications as part of their offer. • The Government reserves the right to inspect the contractor's work and facilities to ensure compliance with the contract terms and conditions.
