Description:
The City of Lafayette is seeking a professional contractor to assess, treat, and maintain its outdoor public art collection. The collection consists of 59 works and grows annually. The contractor will be responsible for performing a condition assessment, providing a prioritized report of needed maintenance or treatments, and performing recommended maintenance as budget allows. The contract term is anticipated to begin on May 1, 2025, and end on December 31, 2025, with two option years. The evaluation criteria include experience with similar types of work, team capabilities, proposal format and quality, timeline compatibility, price, and references. • The contractor must have experience in assessing, treating, and maintaining outdoor public art. • The contractor must be able to collaborate with the City's Public Art Coordinator. • The contractor must provide a written narrative that defines the methods and means by which the proposing firm will perform the scope of work. • The contractor must provide an excel spreadsheet with unit prices for maintenance and treatment of artwork. • The contractor must provide at least three reference contacts for similar projects.
