The Charlotte Mecklenburg Library is seeking a qualified firm to design and develop a Content Management System (CMS) for the new Main Library. The CMS will be used to schedule, manage, and deliver digital content to large format immersive media displays. The project includes the development of a web-based CMS portal, asset library, and scheduling features. The selected vendor will be responsible for coordinating with the Library's internal project team, construction contractors, and audiovisual integration partners. The project is expected to last approximately 9 months, with a budget to be determined. Key considerations include user privacy and data security, accessibility, and community engagement. • The CMS must be able to manage and deliver digital content to two immersive display endpoints with different aspect ratios. • The CMS must have scheduling features, including recurring schedules and date/time ranges. • The CMS must have role-based access control and secure authentication. • The CMS must be able to integrate with the Library's existing systems and infrastructure. • The vendor must provide training and support for Library staff. • The vendor must ensure that the CMS is accessible and usable for visitors with disabilities.
