The Greater Hartford Transit District is seeking task-based architectural and engineering (A/E) services, as well as construction management services. The District is a quasi-municipal corporation that operates under the authority of Chapter 103a of the Connecticut General Statutes. The selected firm will provide services to support public transportation in the Capitol Region of Connecticut. The scope of work includes a variety of services, such as building and facility construction and maintenance, heavy construction, and transportation engineering. • The District has broad powers to acquire, operate, finance, plan, develop, maintain, and provide all forms of land transportation and related services. • The selected firm will be required to provide task-based A/E services and construction management services. • The District is eligible and authorized under state and local law to request, receive, and manage grant funds and to execute and administer grant-funded projects. • The District provides a variety of services in support of public transportation in the Capitol Region of Connecticut.
