The City of Hutchinson is seeking sealed bids for the 2024 Waterline Replacement project (Project No. 23‑26). The scope includes removal and replacement of existing water mains, installation of new HDPE service connections, driveway reconstruction, and ancillary work such as tree removal, erosion control, and traffic control. Quantities are provided for each line item, and bidders must submit a 5 % bid bond and be prepared to furnish performance and payment bonds upon award. • 8″ water main – 319 LF • 6″ water main – 6,207 LF • Bore in lieu of trenching – 620 LF • Service connections, meter installations, and concrete driveway work (total ~7,123 SF) • Additional site work: tree removal, seeding, mulching, erosion & traffic control.
