The US Air Force is seeking vendors to repair the base perimeter road at a location in Michigan. The project involves constructing new 2 and 3 lane roads, including full-depth pavement repairs, mill/overlay, crack repairs, and work along the entire Perimeter Road and Jefferson Ave. The contractor must maintain a constant flow of traffic during construction and obtain a Macomb County Soil Erosion Permit. The project also includes the installation of subsurface edge drainage, localized grading, and new paint and markings on all new pavements. • The project requires the removal and reinstallation of steel wedge barriers and jersey barriers throughout construction. • The contractor must follow the requirements of the Macomb County Soil Erosion Permit. • The project involves constructing approximately 4.2 miles of primarily two and three lane road. • The contractor must have prior experience in road construction and repair.
