Richland County is seeking a vendor to provide medical and mental healthcare to detainees at the Alvin S. Glenn Detention Center. The scope of work includes providing medical and mental health services, pharmaceutical supplies, office equipment, and personnel. The vendor will be responsible for all costs related to offender healthcare services. The contract will be for a period of one year, with the option to renew. • The vendor must provide a quality assurance plan, including a provision for program and contract monitoring by an outside correctional health care consultant. • The vendor must comply with all federal, state, and local laws and regulations regarding employment practices, equal opportunities, industry and safety standards, and performance. • The vendor must provide a drug-free workplace certification and comply with the County's prompt payment requirements. • The vendor must certify that it will comply with the applicable requirements of Title 8, Chapter 14, and include language in its contracts with subcontractors requiring them to comply with the applicable requirements of Title 8, Chapter 14.
