The City of Oxnard is inviting sealed bids for the Advanced Alley Maintenance Program - Phase 1. The project includes preventative treatments and targeted repairs to preserve alley pavement conditions within various neighborhoods, such as repairing failed asphalt pavement areas, asphalt skin patching, and installing cape seal or slurry to extend pavement life. The successful bidder will be required to furnish performance and payment bonds, and must comply with California State Prevailing Wage requirements. • The project requires a valid California Class-A General Engineering Contractor’s License. • The contractor must perform at least 50% of the total original contract price with its own organization. • The project has a liquidated damages clause, with a $4,200 assessment for each calendar day that work remains incomplete beyond the project completion deadline. • The city reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any irregularities or informalities in any bids or in the bidding process.
