Description:
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is conducting a market survey to gather information from industry providers about their capabilities to provide Human External Cargo/Long Line initial pilot training for FAA inspectors and pilots. The training program will include ground school and flight training, and the contractor will be required to provide all necessary training aids and facilities. The FAA is seeking information on the vendors' experience, qualifications, and capabilities to provide this type of training. The vendors should provide information on their company, including their SAM Unique ID, business size, and point of contact, as well as their approach to providing the training. The FAA will use this information to determine the best approach for acquiring these services. • The contractor will be required to provide initial ground school and Human External Cargo/Long Line flight training to FAA inspectors/pilots. • The contractor will be required to provide all necessary training aids and facilities. • The contractor will be required to have a qualified instructor to provide ground school instruction. • The contractor will be required to have a FAA-approved training program. • The contractor will be required to provide a copy of the aircraft Pilot's Operating Handbook (POH) to each inspector/pilot.
