Description:
The US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) is seeking a contractor to provide technical assistance and coordination outcomes database support. The contractor will be responsible for maintaining and modernizing the Remaining Items (RI) Technical Assistance and Coordination Outcomes (TACO) database, which supports the National Flood Risk Management Program (NFRMP), Floodplain Management Services (FPMS), and Planning Assistance to States (PAS) programs. The contractor will provide general database development, assistance, and maintenance, as well as make changes to the database schema as needed. The contractor will also provide general assistance with web-based data entry interfaces and report generation, and ensure that data is easily accessible to USACE for use in reporting tools such as Power BI. Some key tasks and deliverables include: * General database development, assistance, and maintenance for DynamoDB and/or PostgreSQL databases * Making changes to database schema as needed to match any changes to the fields (name changes or additions) * Keeping a changelog of fields that are renamed or added over time * General assistance with web-based data entry interfaces and report generation * Developing a REST web service endpoint that provides geographic data in a GeoJSON format for use in ArcGIS Portal web maps * Delivering training to users, database administrators, program managers, and others on how to enter data and pull reports once the new tool is operational * Maintaining and enhancing system documentation * Coordinating with CWBI PMO to maintain cybersecurity compliance, risk management framework documentation, and remediating vulnerabilities
