Description:
The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) is seeking bids for the replacement of an Exhaust Evacuation System (EES) in Humboldt County. The contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, tools, equipment, travel, supplies, parts, fees, permits, and incidentals necessary to remove and legally dispose of the current EES and furnish and install a new EES including motors, reels, switches, ducting, wiring, and all other components. The services shall be performed at Caltrans District 32 Equipment Shop 1, Main Shop, located at 1650 Albee Street, Eureka, CA 95501. Key requirements include: • A valid C-20 - Warm-Air Heating, Ventilating and Air-Conditioning Contractor license issued by the California Contractors State Licensing Board (CSLB) or a B - General Building Contractor license • A valid and current registration with the Department of Industrial Relations (DIR) • Compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and standards, including prevailing wage rates and workers' compensation insurance • Completion of the project within 120 days • A bid amount not exceeding $461,000.00
