The North Carolina Department of Natural and Cultural Resources, Division of Parks and Recreation, is seeking bids for the Jordan Lake State Recreation Area – Sewer Improvements project. The project involves dredging, repair, and maintenance of wastewater lagoons, replacement of the above-ground irrigation system, and maintenance thinning and replanting of vegetative field cover. The project requires a lump sum bid for general construction – single prime. A mandatory pre-bid meeting was held on July 16, 2025, to address project-specific questions and bidding procedures. • The project consists of work at three Park Access Areas: Poplar Point, Parkers Creek, and Vista Point. • The project requires a cash deposit or certified check of 5% of the proposal, or a bid bond of 5% of the bid. • A performance bond and payment bond will be required for 100% of the contract price. • Payment will be made based on 95% of monthly estimates and final payment upon completion and acceptance of work.
