Description of goods to services to be bid: NY Green Bank’s RFP 18 invites property owners and developers, energy service companies and equipment manufacturers, capital providers, and other market participants to submit proposals for NYGB investment in the construction or retrofit of multifamily affordable housing to high levels of energy performance in New York State. The RFP will remain open and responses will be evaluated on a rolling basis as received. If changes are made to this solicitation notification will be posted on NYSERDA’s website at:www.nyserda.ny.gov/funding-opportunities Eligibility/Qualifications Requirements/Preferences: Eligible Projects are those that satisfy the following criteria: (a) Will be implemented at building(s) that contain at least five residential units and demonstrate affordability by the thresholds listed in RFP 18; and (b) Aim and demonstrate potential to achieve building energy performance at least 30% beyond building's historical performance or at least 20% beyond prevailing building code at time of new construction permitting.
