The New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA) is seeking proposals for financing arrangements for high-performance affordable housing. The goal is to achieve building energy performance at least 30% beyond the building's historical performance or at least 20% beyond the prevailing building code at the time of new construction permitting. Eligible projects must be implemented at buildings that contain at least five residential units and demonstrate affordability. • The RFP will remain open and responses will be evaluated on a rolling basis as received. • Eligible projects must aim and demonstrate potential to achieve high levels of energy performance. • The contract term is to be determined. • The location of the project must be in New York State.
