The Village of Port Chester is seeking a qualified firm to develop a master plan for Abendroth Park, a 10-acre public park in Port Chester, New York. The master plan should include conceptual designs, preliminary cost estimates, and a scope and schedule for implementing the plan. The successful proposer will provide professional planning and design services to assist in the development of the master plan. The plan should consider potential uses for the space, future priorities in development, and allow for multiple rounds of review and feedback from Village staff. Key elements to be included in the master plan are: integration or replacement of existing facilities and features, new sports facilities, picnic area and amenities, walking trail, and cost estimates for implementing the master plan. • Information gathering and analysis of existing site conditions • Solicitation of community input through at least four outreach events • Development of a master plan that considers potential uses for the space and future priorities in development • Provision of written goals, objectives, policy statements, financial and action plan, and charts, graphs, maps, and other data to support the plan • Minimum of four stakeholder meetings for required adoption of the Master Plan • Cost estimates of implementing the master plan, schedule, and scope of work for proposed future developments at the site
