Description:
The County of Riverside Transportation Department and Riverside County Flood Control and Water Conservation District are proposing to construct drainage improvements consisting of a double, 2-foot high and 4-foot wide, precast reinforced concrete box (RCB) culvert across Hostettler Road to alleviate flooding from the Temescal Wash. The project includes the installation of the RCB culvert, reinforced concrete headwall, wingwalls, and end wall. Bidders are required to submit quotations for the project, including all transportation costs, labor, and equipment for off-loading the product. The County reserves the right to reject any or all offers and to waive any discrepancy or technicality. • The project requires the installation of a precast RCB culvert, 80-feet in length, with a reinforced concrete headwall and wingwalls at the inlet, and a reinforced concrete end wall at the outlet. • The culvert will be located approximately 900-feet southwest of Temescal Canyon Road, immediately south of an existing driveway approach, and approximately 800 feet north of Desperado Drive in the Temescal Valley community of Riverside County. • Bidders must submit their questions online at www.publicpurchase.com, and all responses to bidders' questions will be posted online at www.publicpurchase.com. • The County has implemented a Procurement Preference Program, which provides a 5% preference to Service-Disabled Veteran, Veteran, National Guard, and Federal Reserve Veteran-Owned Businesses, as well as Local and Small Businesses.
