Description:
The Canton Township is seeking a company to provide floor coating installation at the Fire Station No. 3. The project involves the installation of a self-leveling polyurethane screed broadcast system. The contractor must have experience working on similar projects, particularly at fire stations. The proposal should include a description of the means and methods of installation, a warranty description, and individual cost per color. A mandatory site visit is scheduled for June 3rd, 2025, at 12 noon. Some key points to consider: • The fire station will remain in service during the floor coating process. • Areas will be taken out of service to provide contractors with space to work. • The contractor must provide proof of experience with successful coating installations at a minimum of 3 fire stations. • The evaluation criteria include the contractor's cost proposal and warranty description, means and methods to perform the work, and references.

Budget Estimate (AI):

$50,000 – $200,000

The budget for this project can be estimated based on the scope of work and the materials required. The installation of a self-leveling polyurethane screed broadcast system can cost anywhere from $5 to $15 per square foot, depending on the complexity of the project and the location. Assuming an average cost of $10 per square foot, and considering the fire station has multiple areas that need to be coated, the total budget could be in the range of $50,000 to $200,000. However, this is a rough estimate and the actual budget will depend on the contractor's proposal and the evaluation criteria. Factors that may influence the likely payment range include the size of the areas to be coated, the complexity of the project, and the contractor's experience and reputation.
