The Cook County Department of Transportation and Highways is seeking a consultant to provide traffic engineering services on a task order basis for various projects. The selected team of consulting firms will be asked to perform various traffic engineering tasks, including data collection, traffic projections, field visits, crash analyses, countermeasures, speed studies, traffic control warrant studies, and traffic capacity analyses. The contract will have a base term of five years with no renewal options. The consultant must be IDOT prequalified in certain categories and have experience with traffic engineering services. • The consultant will be required to maintain a database to track tasks, deliverables, and budget. • The consultant will be required to be available for weekly check-in calls or in-person meetings with the County. • The consultant will be required to provide a statement indicating their commitment to meeting the Minority and Women-owned Business Enterprise (M/WBE) participation goals. • The consultant will be required to provide a summary of their proposed approach to the project. • The consultant will be required to provide a list of proposed key personnel and their professional experience. • The consultant will be required to provide a list of proposed subconsultants.
