The Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) is requesting bids from qualified general contractors for the replacement of damaged building components at the CDOT Yuma and Wray facilities. The contractor will be required to provide a single lump sum bid to replace all components and all quantities in-kind. The project includes the replacement of various building components, and the contractor will be responsible for the means and methods. • The project requires a mandatory pre-bid meeting, which will be held onsite at both Yuma and Wray locations. • The contractor must have provided contracting services within the last three years for at least two projects, each in excess of $600,000. • The contractor must demonstrate specific general contracting experience in projects of similar scope and complexity. • The contractor must demonstrate bonding capability up to $600,000 for an individual project. • The project must be substantially complete within 180 calendar days from the date of the Notice to Proceed.
