The Texas Parks and Wildlife Department is seeking a qualified contractor to provide printing and distribution services for the Texas Parks & Wildlife magazine. The contractor will be responsible for printing, binding, and shipping the magazine, as well as providing additional services such as poly-bagging and mailing. The contract will commence on September 1, 2025, and continue through August 31, 2027, with the option to renew for up to three additional one-year periods. The contractor must have at least five years of experience in the business of providing production, printing, binding, and shipping of high-quality four-color process publications. Key requirements include: • Printing and binding of the magazine, including saddle stitching and perfect binding • Shipping and mailing of the magazine, including co-mailing and drop shipping • Poly-bagging and attachment of inserts, onserts, and other materials • Storage and maintenance of materials and magazines • Collaboration with TPWM staff on workflow improvements and quality control • Adherence to SWOP specifications and recommended industry standards • Use of environmentally certified paper stock and soy-based inks • Provision of online review and proofing process • Ability to print customer address data directly onto covers or labels • Compliance with USPS regulations and standards
