The Detroit Regional Convention Facility Authority is seeking a responsible and responsive firm to provide grant writing services for a variety of capital projects, building operations, and special expansion and redevelopment projects. The selected firm will be responsible for identifying grant opportunities, preparing grant applications, and providing follow-up services as needed. The contract will be for a three-year term with a two-year renewal option. The firm will be required to have experience working with governmental agencies in Michigan and knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local laws and practices. Some key responsibilities of the grant writer include: • Continuously monitoring state, federal, and local funding sources and identifying grant opportunities • Providing grant-writing services for submission of grant applications • Being familiar with the wide range of projects of high priority to the DRCFA • Responsible for information gathering and creation of all graphics • Providing DRCFA sufficient time to review and authorize grant applications • Producing copies of all reproductions and graphic exhibits for applications and/or presentations
