The College of Charleston is seeking an underground utility locating service provider to support the College’s compliance with the South Carolina Underground Facility Damage Prevention Act through participation in the SC811 system. The provider will be responsible for performing normal and emergency locate services. The contract is expected to be for a period of one year, with an estimated 240 hours of normal locate services and 60 hours of emergency locate services per year. • The provider must have experience in performing similar services for similar-sized organizations. • The provider must be able to meet the requirements of the SC811 system. • The provider must be able to provide professional references from at least three current customers. • The provider must be able to comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including the South Carolina Underground Facility Damage Prevention Act. • The provider must be able to provide a detailed scope of work and pricing for the services to be performed.
