The City of Charlottesville is seeking bids for the installation of electric vehicle chargers for its transit bus fleet. The project is expected to be completed within 30 days, with a substantial completion date of April 24, 2026, and a final completion date of May 1, 2026. • The contractor will work with Dominion Energy to ensure the installed charging equipment is fully operational at the completion of the project. • The contractor will provide conduit, wiring, asphalt, and concrete work, as well as post-installation landscaping cleanup. • The contractor will ensure the connection to the meter is operational and the charger installation passes City of Charlottesville and County of Albemarle inspections.
