The New Mexico State University Procurement Services is seeking proposals from qualified architectural and engineering firms to provide professional planning, design, and related consulting services for the new construction and/or renovation of facilities at the Sunland Park Campus. The selected firm(s) will develop a comprehensive, functional, and sustainable campus environment that supports academic instruction, workforce development, and community engagement. The project may include new construction, renovation of existing facilities, or a combination thereof, depending on feasibility, cost, and long-term campus planning goals. The primary objectives of this project are to support academic instruction, provide workforce training facilities, create flexible learning environments, enhance student services, incorporate sustainable design, and ensure safety and accessibility. • Support academic instruction with an emphasis on nursing and healthcare programs • Provide workforce training facilities, including truck maneuvering training • Create flexible, adaptable learning environments • Enhance student services, community spaces, and outdoor areas • Incorporate sustainable, climate-responsive design • Ensure safety, accessibility, and operational efficiency • Allow for future campus growth and phased development
