The State University of New York (SUNY) at Stony Brook University Hospital is seeking a company to provide snow removal services, including plowing, removal, salting, or sanding, on an as-needed basis for two locations: Parking Garages/Pay Lots and East Campus. The successful bidder must have sufficient equipment, personnel, and facilities to perform the services efficiently. The contract term is 5 years, and the bidder must be able to leave equipment on hospital grounds from November 1st to April 20th. • The bidder must provide proof of ownership of equipment and have sufficient backup equipment. • The bidder must permit hospital representatives to inspect their facilities during normal working hours. • The hospital has set subcontracting goals for minority-owned, women-owned, and service-disabled veteran-owned businesses. • The bidder must contact the designated hospital contact within 15 business days of the advertised notice.
