Description:
The Taunton Public Schools are seeking bids for the provision of groceries for a minimum period of one year up to a maximum of three years. The contract is for the provision of groceries for 8241 students with an average of 5740 lunches/day and 3230 breakfasts/day within 10 schools. The bidder must be certified in Massachusetts to distribute USDA commodity items through the Net Off Invoice Method. The contract term shall begin on July 1, 2026, and will end on June 30, 2027, subject to earlier termination and renewal as provided for elsewhere in the contract. • The bidder must provide all applicable NOI credits throughout the entire contract period. • The bidder must report purchases to K12 Food Service and Processor Link within 5 business days of purchases. • The contract may be renewed for two consecutive renewal periods of one year each. • The bidder must carry and maintain in full force at all times during the term of the contract the following insurance: Workman’s Compensation, General Liability/Property Damage, Personal Injury, Automobile Liability/Property Damage, and Bodily Injury. • The bidder must comply with the Taunton Public Schools Code of Conduct and the Massachusetts General Law regarding CORI checks.
