Description:
The University of Connecticut is seeking a vendor to provide cake sludge hauling and disposal services for the Water Resource Recovery Facility on the Storrs Campus. The selected vendor will be responsible for the collection, transportation, and disposal of grit and cake sludge wastewater by-products. The contract is expected to start on the date of award and will continue for a period of time to be determined. The University is looking for a vendor with experience in providing similar services and a strong commitment to safety and environmental responsibility. • The vendor will be required to provide all necessary equipment and personnel to perform the services. • The vendor will be responsible for ensuring that all work is performed in a safe and environmentally responsible manner. • The vendor will be required to provide regular progress reports and to attend meetings with University staff as needed. • The vendor will be expected to comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including those related to environmental protection and workplace safety. • The vendor will be required to provide proof of insurance and to maintain adequate insurance coverage throughout the term of the contract.
