The University of Maryland Global Campus (UMGC) is seeking a firm to conduct an ADA remediation assessment. The selected vendor will conduct a university-wide accessibility audit, identify areas requiring remediation, and propose a strategic roadmap to ensure ongoing compliance with the ADA Title II web and mobile accessibility regulations and relevant digital accessibility standards, across UMGC digital platforms. The scope of work includes conducting a comprehensive manual and automated audit of digital assets, evaluating against WCAG 2.1 Level AA guidelines and Section 508 standards, identifying accessibility gaps and issues, and providing an Accessibility Audit Report with prioritized findings and recommended remediations. • The assessment will cover various digital platforms, including learning management systems, customer relationship management systems, enterprise resource planning systems, student portals, and digital documents. • The vendor will be required to test platforms, content, and tools with actual users who have disabilities. • The vendor will provide training, knowledge transfer, and institutional capacity-building to ensure long-term accessibility compliance. • The vendor will ensure that any integrated third-party tools or content meet accessibility standards or provide an equally effective alternative. • The vendor will develop a remediation implementation plan and provide compliant digital assets.
