The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking to lease a Mobile MRI Trailer in accordance with the Statement of Work. The contractor shall provide all management, equipment, supplies, tools, and maintenance and repair of all contractor-furnished equipment necessary to perform mobile MRI imaging for the VA San Diego Healthcare System. The Mobile MRI Trailer shall meet all local, state, federal, industry, Joint Commission NEC, NFPA, VA, OSHA, and other applicable regulatory standards. The contractor shall also provide an MRI system that maintains a minimum of 100% up-time performance rate. Key features of the Mobile MRI Trailer include: • A 1.5 Tesla GE Voyager Large Bore MRI System or equal • A minimum of 16 Channel imaging capabilities • Dicom compatibility • Work list and storage capabilities • A 550-pound support patient table • Coils supplied by the contractor shall include at minimum a 21 Channel Head Matrix, 21 Channel Neck Matrix, 16 Channel Body Matrix, 32 Channel Spine Matrix, 16 Channel Small CP Flex, 16 Channel Large CP Flex & interface, CP Extremity, Shoulder Array, and Phased Array Wrist • The MRI Mobile Trailer shall provide space sufficient for the monitoring of sedated patients and conducting CPR and emergency code procedures • The MRI Mobile Trailer shall have an intercom system between the control room and scanning room • The patient data and optical disk is the property of the VA San Diego Healthcare System The contract will be for a base period of one year with four one-year option periods. The contractor shall provide all necessary equipment, delivery, set-up, and pick-up of the equipment from the VA site to the contractor's home site at the termination of the contract.
