The Department of State Hospitals - Atascadero is seeking bids for Universal/E-Waste Recycling Services. The contractor will provide all necessary materials, supplies, tools, equipment, transportation, licenses, certifications, permits, insurance, personnel, trailers, gaylords, dumpsters, collection containers, and any other items necessary to provide DSH with the safe collection of Universal/E-Waste on an as-needed basis. The contractor will also provide 20 and/or 40 cubic yard bin collection containers to be utilized by DSH during the term of the agreement. The term of the agreement is anticipated to be from June 1, 2026, through May 31, 2029. • The contractor must have a valid E-Waste Handler or Recycler Business Identification Number and Facility Identification Number issued by the California Department of Toxic Substances Control. • The contractor must be an active Collector and Recycler of Covered Electronic Waste through Cal Recycle. • The contractor must have vehicles equipped with hydraulic lift-gates to facilitate loading and unloading. • The contractor must provide a list of three references from customers for whom the bidder has provided services of the same nature and type as those outlined in this solicitation. • The contractor must certify proof of their legal right to do business in the State of California.
