The Madera County Jail is seeking a contractor to expand its behavioral health facilities and renovate the existing kitchen to create new classroom spaces, intake/booking areas, and other related facilities. The project includes new on-grade construction, facility renovation, and the installation of various systems, including plumbing, HVAC, and electrical. The contractor will be responsible for completing all work within 516 calendar days. Key features of the project include: • New construction of behavioral health expansion • Renovation of existing kitchen to create new classroom spaces • Installation of new lobby, holding cells, interview rooms, and booking work counter • Compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards • Coordination with the County's project manager and other stakeholders The successful bidder will be required to provide a performance bond and payment bond, each equal to 100% of the successful bid.
