Description:
The U.S. Department of State is seeking a contractor to provide cook services for the Marine Security Guards at the U.S. Consulate in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The contract will be for a one-year period with four one-year options to renew. The contractor will be responsible for providing cook services, including food preparation, nutrition management, and service execution, for 7 to 8 Marines, three times a day, five days a week. The contractor must have at least 3 years of experience managing food services operations and must provide a qualified cook with experience in premium level food and service execution. • The contractor will be required to provide a detailed menu plan, food storage catalog, and quality control plan. • The contractor will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment and ensuring that all food handling and preparation procedures are followed. • The contractor will be required to provide monthly quality control reports and perform overall trending by facility and contractor. • The contractor will be responsible for ensuring that all employees are medically cleared prior to returning to work after receiving medical care.
