The City of Meriden is seeking Contractor Services to Rehabilitate its WW1 Monument located on Broad Street. The awarded contractor will provide granite backing for six (6) 125 lb bronze nameplates, various header plates and flute columns in accordance with the general conditions. The Contractor shall be responsible for all means and methods for the disposal of all material during and after this rehabilitation. Any permits shall also be the sole responsibility of the awarded contractor. Key aspects of the project include: • Providing granite backing for bronze nameplates and header plates • Placing the granite and header plates on the existing foundation base • Disposing of all material during and after the rehabilitation • Obtaining necessary permits • Performing all work in a workmanlike manner • Completing the project within the specified timeframe
