The California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection (CAL FIRE) is seeking bids for the Baker Fire Station - Facility Replacement project. The new facility will include a 2-engine, 3-bay fire station, generator/pump building, storage building, carport, trash enclosure, above ground fuel vault, and site improvements such as grading, pavement, utilities, septic system, LPG tank, drainage, site curb/gutter/sidewalks, site lighting, site fencing, hose wash rack, hydrants, flagpole, facility sign, landscaping, and irrigation. • The project is located in Cottonwood, CA. • The estimated budget for the project is $14,575,000. • The project is not federally funded. • The project will be occupied by CAL FIRE staff during construction, and the contractor must accommodate construction and maintain access to the facilities for staff. • The contractor must show the relocation date in the master schedule for CAL FIRE review and planning.
