The County of Orange is seeking proposals for threatened and endangered species consulting services. The selected consultant will provide services on an as-needed basis for various County projects, including site habitat evaluations, mitigation planning, and field inspection services. The consultant must have at least 3 years of experience in conducting threatened and endangered species habitat evaluations and impact assessments. The contract term is for 2 years with a possible 2-year renewal. • The consultant will provide detailed cost estimates for each project assigned by the County. • The consultant will commence work upon written notification from the County to proceed with services for each specific project. • The consultant must complete all requested services within 30 calendar days from the date of the County's written request. • The County reserves the right to renew the contract for an additional 2-year period. • The contract may be extended unilaterally by the County for an additional period of up to 2 months.
