The County of Los Angeles, Internal Services Department, is seeking bids for the provision of a laboratory manifold positive pressure system for the Los Angeles Sheriff's Department's Toxicology laboratory. The system should have approximately 48 ports, a rotameter and rotameter valve, low flow and high flow switches, a flow rate selector, and two compression switches. The system must be compatible with SPE or SLE columns and have a gas supply with a minimum pressure of 60 psi and a maximum pressure of 100 psi. The dimensions of the system should be approximately 335 x 305 x 390 mm and weigh around 28-35 pounds. The system should operate at a temperature range of 5-40 degrees Celsius. • The system must meet California and County of Los Angeles safety requirements. • The equipment shall be the latest model and shall not have been used as a demonstrator. • Bidders shall submit detailed literature on the unit they propose to furnish. • The system should have a minimum of 4 toggle switches to allow users to turn on/off gas to row(s) containing samples.
