The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking information from industry partners regarding the procurement of an A/B scan system for the Fort Harrison VA Medical Center (North). The system must be compatible with the Forum platform, have DICOM compliance capability, and meet specific requirements such as having detachable probes, A-scan and B-scan options, and a foot pedal. The system will be used in the Billings VA Ophthalmology Clinic for measurements that cannot be obtained by IOL master or OCT. • The system must be on the approved list of equipment for Forum compatibility and have an ERA and be Vista Approved. • The system must have DICOM compliance capability and A-scan and B-scan options for measuring eye length and retinal thickness or lesion thickness. • The system must have a single unit with interchangeable probes no larger than 15”x15” footprint and must be direct contact A-scan, not immersion, for obtaining readings. • The system must plug into a standard US outlet and be made in the USA. • The manufacturer must set up the equipment and provide instructional training to provider and technicians.
