The New York State Police (NYSP) is seeking a vendor to provide an "out-of-the-box" Cloud solution for an efficient, user-friendly, and consolidated agency-wide inventory management system. The system should be able to track millions of items, including uniforms, firearms, and medical bags, and provide real-time updates, approval workflows, and reporting capabilities. The system should also be able to integrate with NYSP's Active Directory and other NYSP systems. The vendor should have experience in implementing similar solutions for medium to large-scale companies, preferably with law enforcement. Some key features of the system include: • Tracking and reporting of inventory in real-time • Approval workflows for requesting and issuing items • Integration with NYSP's Active Directory and other NYSP systems • Ability to track and report on inventory levels, including low-stock alerts and automatic ordering • Ability to generate reports on inventory usage, including by item, location, and employee • Ability to track and manage fleet vehicles, including maintenance and inspection records • Ability to track and manage firearms, including assignment, deployment, and maintenance records • Ability to provide audit logs and security access controls The project will be implemented in phases, with the first phase focusing on uniforms. The vendor should be able to deliver a scalable solution that can be expanded to include other items and departments over time.
