The City of Raleigh is seeking proposals from firms to provide fire extinguisher inspection and maintenance services for its facilities and vehicles. The selected firm will be responsible for inspecting and testing fire extinguishers, performing repairs and maintenance, and providing service tickets and inventory updates. The contract will have a term of five years, and the City reserves the right to extend the contract term for up to 180 days in 90-day-or-less increments. • The scope of work includes inspecting and testing fire extinguishers at City of Raleigh locations, performing repairs and maintenance, and providing service tickets and inventory updates. • The selected firm must comply with all applicable NFPA, Federal, State, OSHA, and Local Authority having jurisdiction standards, regulations, codes, and requirements. • The firm must provide a trained representative to perform inspections and maintenance, and must ensure that all work is done in a timely and professional manner. • The City reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive any informality or irregularity in the proposal process.
