Description:
The Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) intends to issue a full-and-open competitive solicitation for Operations and Sustainment (O&S) for the Littoral Combat Ship Mission Modules (LCS MM) and Small Unmanned Surface Vessels (sUSV). The solicitation will be for a contract to provide O&S support for the LCS MM and sUSV programs. The scope of work includes providing operations and sustainment support for the LCS MM and sUSV systems. • The LCS MM program has employed an incremental development approach to deliver capabilities, allowing for insertion of mature capabilities throughout the life of the program without the need for modifications to the LCS seaframe. • The LCS MM program is also the integrator of separately procured MM equipment and sUSVs. • The program uses common support containers, designs for which are based upon an International Organization for Standardization (ISO)-compliant shipping container to preserve anonymity and provide "roll on, roll off" capabilities for LCS seaframe and sUSV primary mission sets. • The solicitation release will be announced electronically under Contract Opportunities at https://sam.gov and interested parties must comply with that announcement.

Budget Estimate (AI):

$10,000,000 – $50,000,000

The budget for this opportunity is difficult to estimate, as the document does not provide a specific dollar amount. However, based on the scope of work and the fact that it is a full-and-open competitive solicitation, it is likely that the contract value will be in the millions of dollars. The Navy's budget for the LCS program is likely to be a significant factor in determining the contract value. Additionally, the fact that the solicitation is for a contract to provide O&S support for the LCS MM and sUSV programs suggests that the contract value may be higher than a typical procurement contract. A possible estimate for the contract value could be between $10 million and $50 million.
