The Wake County Public School System is seeking to secure a contract to provide Fire Hydrant Installation and Repair services at various WCPSS facilities. The contract will be for a period of one year, with the option to extend for an additional year. The contractor will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing fire hydrants, as well as providing emergency response services. The contractor must have adequate and qualified staff, and must be able to handle multiple calls at one time. • The contractor must carry appropriate licenses as required by the state of North Carolina. • The contractor must have procedures in place for working on fire hydrant systems and employee training must be kept up to date. • The contractor will be responsible for any required permitting and incidental supplies or hardware. • The contractor must be able to respond to emergency requests within 2 hours.
