Description:
The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) is seeking firms to provide professional geospatial services in support of various local, state, and regional coastal resource management needs. The services required include data acquisition, thematic mapping, survey and control services, coastal engineering services, geographic information systems (GIS) services, and geospatial training. The contract will be a multiple-award indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) contract with a five-year ordering period and a shared maximum award value of $49.0 million. The selection criteria include professional qualifications, specialized experience and technical competence, capacity to accomplish the work, past performance, and location and knowledge. • Data acquisition using multiple platforms, including aerial, satellite, ship-based, subsurface, and unmanned vehicles • Thematic mapping for land use/cover, impervious surfaces, wetland and benthic habitats • Survey and control services, including tide and water level collections for tidal datum determination • Coastal engineering services, including natural and nature-based design and construction, wave/tide/sediment transport modeling, erosion control, and soft and hard stabilization solutions • Geographic Information Systems (GIS) services, including data production, geospatial data and map service development, data management, data conversion, data integration, data analysis, data modeling, and data visualization • Geospatial training
