The State of Iowa is requesting bids to provide FAA-compliant Tower Lighting as a Service (TLaaS) for 11 Department of Public Safety owned communication towers. The successful bidder will be responsible for providing a fixed monthly rate for a fully integrated solution, including installation, maintenance, and monitoring services. The project includes converting A1 style (red incandescent) systems to E1 style (dual red/white LED) systems to eliminate the requirement for tower painting while maintaining full FAA compliance.
