The City of Gainesville is seeking a proposal for the exclusive weekly collection of single-family residential curbside solid waste, bulk, recycling, white goods, yard trash, and other city-designated solid waste and recycling needs. The proposal also includes an optional exclusive weekly food waste composting or other processing and collection. The contract will be a franchise agreement with a term of 10 years and two 5-year renewals. • The bidder must download the bid document, including specifications, plans, etc. from the Attachments tab. • The bidder must provide an affidavit signed by an officer or representative of the bidder under penalty of perjury attesting that the bidder does not meet any of the criteria in Section 287.138, Florida Statutes. • The bidder must comply with the prohibition regarding foreign countries of concern.
