The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Fort Worth District is conducting market research to support the inclusion of a sole source specification for an Electronic Security System (ESS) in the construction contracts for the Dyess AFB B21 Mission Planning Facility and other projects at Dyess Air Force Base, Texas. The ESS should include an Intrusion Detection System (IDS), Closed-Circuit Television (CCTV), and Access Control System (ACS). The system should be compatible with the existing Vindicator ACS and IDS systems at the base. Vendors who offer products that meet the same functional requirements as the Honeywell Vindicator Electronic Security System are invited to respond to this notice. • The ESS should include IDS, CCTV, and ACS. • The system should be compatible with the existing Vindicator ACS and IDS systems at the base. • The ESS will be used to monitor the facility at multiple locations. • The system should seamlessly tie into the existing systems without the use of interfaces. • The IDS panels will be Vindicator equipment. • Other ancillary devices, including motion detectors, keypads, and power supplies, will be specified.
