The Greater Orlando Aviation Authority is seeking a Design-Build firm to provide design-build services for the pavement rehabilitation of Heintzelman Blvd. at the Orlando International Airport. The project includes asphalt milling and resurfacing, bridge joint rehabilitation, drainage and lighting improvements, erosion and sediment control, roadway pavement markings, and maintenance of traffic. The selected firm will be responsible for designing and building the project. • The project length is approximately 3.9 miles, including 3.4 miles of pavement rehabilitation. • The project requires compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws, ordinances, rules, and regulations. • The project requires the selected firm to obtain all necessary permits, licenses, and certificates. • The project requires the selected firm to provide a staffing plan, organizational chart, and resumes of key personnel. • The project requires the selected firm to have experience with design-build delivery methods and traditional delivery methods.
