The Ulster County Planning Department is seeking a firm to prepare two preliminary engineering reports for water and septic infrastructure at two manufactured home parks. The reports will assess existing conditions, identify necessary repairs, upgrades, and improvements, and provide a framework for improving the infrastructure. The selected firm will be responsible for preparing one report per property, addressing both water and septic systems, and including alternatives analysis, proposed design, and estimated project costs. The project is funded by the Community Development Block Grant Program and the Housing Trust Fund Corporation. • The reports will evaluate the water supply and septic systems of two manufactured home parks. • Each report will include a section on background and history of the site, environmental and geologic conditions, and current ownership. • The reports will assess the need for repairs or replacement work and evaluate compliance with current design standards. • The selected firm will prepare four maps for each site, including existing and proposed water supply and septic systems. • The firm will coordinate with property owners and the Planning Department to conduct site assessments and obtain necessary documentation. • The project duration is six months, commencing on July 24th, 2025, and ending on January 26th, 2026.
