The City of Charlottesville is seeking quotes for the purchase of plumbing leak detection equipment, specifically Watts Leak Defense Systems with control panels, CAT6 cables, and Spring Check Valves. The equipment will be used to monitor City Hall plumbing for unintended water flow. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder. • The City encourages the participation of small and micro businesses, businesses owned by women, minorities, or veterans, and employment services organizations in the City’s procurement opportunities. • The contractor shall provide an operations and maintenance manual with wiring diagrams, parts list, and a copy of all warranties for each piece of equipment/goods provided. • The City reserves the right to inspect the contractor’s physical facilities prior to award. • The contractor shall ensure that all subcontractors providing goods or services related to this contract obtain and maintain in effect at all times during the term of this contract the required insurance policies.
