Description:
The General Services Administration (GSA) is seeking quotes for the provision of Viking Life-Saving Equipment PS4049, or equal, anti-exposure suits. The suits must be designed for rapid deployment, high thermal protection, and durability in marine environments. They must be made from breathable Nomex/GORE-TEX materials, providing both comfort and flash fire protection. The suits must feature a split-neck, diagonal waterproof zipper for easy and quick donning, and must comply with USCG/LSA code requirements for 6-hour thermal protection in 0°C water. • The suits must include reinforcements on the knees and seat area to withstand harsh conditions. • They must be equipped with attached, durable rubber anti-slippage soles. • The suits must be supplied vacuum-packed in a storage bag, requiring little storage space and allowing for on-site repacking. • They must feature integrated suspenders for height adjustment and elastic intake at the waist for a secure fit. • The suits must include retro-reflective trim for high visibility in dark water. • They must be engineered for scenarios requiring high mobility and comfort, such as helicopter transit or fast rescue boat (FRB) operations, while offering superior immersion protection.
